There is going to be days like this but for two frames heading into frame three the Hawks had that Wild Crowd standing down with them Dam* Rally Towels. The Game was tightly contested with the Wild delivering 22 hits to the Hawks 8. It was that first goal though by the Wild that opened up the Flood Gates and for the Hawks you hope you can get out of 10K Lakes with a "W".

Almost two minutes into Frame Three the Wild strikes as Erik Haula gets a nice tip-in off of a pass from Matt Moulson as Patrick Kane of the Hawks was trailing Haula on the play to beat Crawford to make it 1-0 Wild. Not even three minutes later Mikael Granlund's backhand shot in front of the Hawks Net swooping in left to right gave the Wild a 2-0 lead. Then with the game seemingly in the balance the Hawks didn't want to let this happen as Zach Parise strikes with just over two minutes to go to make 3-0.  Granlund then capped of the scoring and his night with an Empty Netter to make the final score 4-0 Wild.

The Play picked up in the 2nd frame and for the Wild that carried over into the 3rd frame as the Hawks looked on the defense the hole 3rd frame.  Hawks were 0-2 on the Power Play with the Wild 1-4 as Wild Net Minder Ilya Bryzgalov stopped all 19 Hawks shots. Craw-Dad of the Indian Head stopped 14 of 17.

Now the Series gets two days off as we come back on Friday May 9th at 930pm ET in the Twin Cities for Game #4 with the Indian Head up 2-1...
