The New Orleans Pelicans were right there as they get word that OKC lose to Indy. They couldn't close out the Rockets as Houston was too busy trying to keep pace with both the Spurs and Grizzlies.

It was James Harden's game-high 30 points and six Rockets in double figures that outlasted the Pelicans 121-114. NOLA Star the "Brow" Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with 27 points and seven boards with Jrue Holiday adding 17 points as he comes from the DNP and DND Dead.

Houston simply won the game with shooting some 48 free throws to the Pelicans 22. Add Corey Brewers 20 points and the Rockets non-stop assault in transition and a dunk or a money ball with nothing in between...you get 53 wins and counting.

Now the Pelicans stay at #8 with two games to play as they need a win or an OKC loss in th next outing to grab #8. The Rockets stay at #6 while the Grizz sit at #3 and the Spurs of all teams in the Southwest are 1st place...imagine that as the calendar is April!
