The Detroit Tigers gave starter Alfredo Simon two runs in the 1st and back to back runs in the 3rd and 4th as they slide by the Cleveland Indians 4-1 at Comerica Park on Saturday. Simon was better than good as he goes 6 2/3 frames allowing just six hits and a run striking out three and issuing two free passes.

As Simon gets the win moving to 4-0 it was Tigers DH Victor Martinez dba V-Mart going 2 for 4 knocking in three. Two singles one in the 1st and one in the 3rd as Tribe starter TJ House was chased after three frames. He gave up three runs in four frames and all were earned. He struck out three but those four free passes spelled gloom and doom for House.

The Tribe gets their lone run in the game on a Michael Brantley RBI-single in the 3rd as he goes 4 for 4 on the day accounting for the lone and four of the eight Tribe hits. On the flip side Miggy Cabrera was walked four times and the Tribe Strategy backfired with V-Mart coming through behind him (Tribe didn't see V-Mart's Digits from the 2014 Season).

Motor City Kitties move to 12-6 and the Tribe falls to 6-10...the Rubber Game will be Sunday as we get Carlos Carrasco of the Indians vs Kyle Lobstein for the Tigers!
