The Golden State Warriors hold serve in their best of seven with the visiting New Orleans Pelicans as the show this time belonged to that Dubs Bench. G.S.W. weathered the storm in the 4th on a few different fronts as the Pelicans would not go away with both Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans playing well.

Dubs leading at the break 55-52 after getting hit right in the mug in frame one down 28-17. The Pelicans though were not backing down as they controlled the 3rd frame and things were all knotted up at 71-71 heading into the 4th. Anthony Davis led the N.O.P. with 20 after three with Steph Curry lead G.S.W. with 22.

The 4th came down to experience and the ability to close an NBA Playoff game which is an art believe it or not. The Pelicans played nip and tuck from the eight and a half minute mark to the two minute mark as the Warriors made plays and shots down the stretch.

With the score 88-84 G.S.W. with just over five minutes remaining they close on a 9-3 run led by Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. Klay led with 26 points on 11 of 17 from the field with Curry adding 22 points and six helpers. Green was huge as he grabbed a dozen boards to go along with 14 huge points. Andrew Bogut played his role adding 14 boards as G.S.W. only shot 19 free throws.

Anthony Davis led NOLA with 26 points and ten boards with Gordon adding 23 points and "REKEhavoc" chipping in with 16 points and ten boards and seven helpers. With Jrue Holiday unavailable that is a huge loss for the former NBA East All-Star PG...real big.

Warriors lead series 2-0 heading back to the Big Smoothie King Center in the Big Easy for game 3 and 4 with game 3 on Thursday April, 23 at 9:30pm ET...
