The Houston Rockets had all the great ones in the house from T-Mac to "Clyde the Glide" to "Dream" but the only thing that mattered to them was that the current Rockets version wins and stays the course.

Behind all five Rocket starters in double figures and a huge lift from Corey Brewer the Rockets hold off a few runs by the Dallas Mavericks for a 118-108 "W" at the Toyota Center on Saturday Night. #RedNation was packed wearing Tee that simply stated "Pursuit" and the Pursuit to another Chip is on and crackin' in Harris County, Texas.

James Harden had a had a team-high 24 points with eleven helpers and when "Fear the Beard" is working both the front of the house (Waiting Tables-Facilitator) and the back of the house (Cooking-Scoring)  Clutch City is one tough out. Terrence Jones and "Jet" Terry both added 16 with "Brew Crew" chipping in with 15 off the bench. The Rockets shoot 32 of 45 from the stripe as they were in Attack Mode" all game long.

The Mavs led by the 214 Pro Hoops G.O.A.T. Dirk Nowitzki had their chances in the 4th as it was 86-81 just under the eleven minute mark. They just could not get the lead under five the rest of the way and a -12 from deep and -18 in makes from the stripe spelled gloom and doom for Big D coming out of the motel. Dallas had seven players in double figures as "Mississippi Lightning" Monta Ellis had 16 behind Dirk's 24.

Now we get Game #2 on Tuesday Night April 21st at 9:30pm ET at the Toyota Center in H-Town with the Mavs trailing 1-0 in the series...
