Coulda woulda shoulda as the Dallas Mavericks revamped starting five gave the Rockets its first loss in the series and gave Red Nation all it could handle in the clincher. In the end the Mavs just did not have enough front line players to match up with the maybe NBA M.V.P. in James Harden and a host of others playing their roles with Dwight Howard getting back to 1/2 of what he once was.

Behind a game-high 28 points from Harden and 18 points and nineteen boards and four blocks from "Dwight of Three Stripes' the Rockets held off a few different runs in the 2nd half to end their series with Dallas 4-1. Josh Smith came off the bench adding 20 points and eight boards as the Mavs top six players performed for the most part up to snuff to get the game 5 "W"!

Dallas down just 56-50 at the break never once took the lead and on a few occasions got to within three points but could not get over the hump. That JJ Barea "J" that made it 88-85 Rockets was the last time they would get to within one possession of the Rockets losing going away 103-94.

"Mississippi Lightning" Monta Ellis had a team-high 25 points on 26 FGs with Dirk Nowiztki adding 22 points and fourteen boards. It was that 5 for 26 from deep an the Rockets holding a +15 in points from the arc that was the difference in the outcome.

Clutch City will need to everything and then some as they may have to go through the other team in Texas the Spurs of Spurs Family if they can get past the Clippers.
