The Dallas Mavericks force a Game 7 as they slide past the San Antonio Spurs 113-111 as that last three minute of regulation took an eternity. It was "Mississippi Lightning" and that Mavs Bench that did the trick in game 6 and they will need that and then some to beat the Sours in a Game 7 on the Spurs home Court on Sunday.
Monta had a game-high 29 points on a cool 11 of 22 from the field with Dirk-ilicious adding 22 points and grabbing five boards. Jose Calderon was huge with 12 points and six assists as the Mavs Starters were outscored by Spurs Starters 86-76. It was the Mavs Bench who bailed them out outscoring that Spurs Bench 37-25. Vince Carter, DeJuan Blair, and Devin Harris all were in double figures.
The Spurs were led by Point God TP9's 22 points and six helpers as he was spinning in and out of the lane all night long. Tiaggo Splitter continues to show and prove Stephen A. Smith with 19 points and eight boards while Danny green added 17 points. The Spurs shot nearly 54% from the field and above 85% from the Stripe and all their numbers pointed to the Win Column except the final score.
