Don't breakout the SHAMP-PAG-NA just yet but the L.A. Kings behind the best Net Minder going in Jonathan Quick dba as "L.A. Quick" halts 36/37 shots and the Kings get two goals and an Empty Netter to give the Anaheim Ducks more than enough to think about heading into Game 3 in "Staples with Ice".

All the scoring was done in period 1 when the Kings Marian Gaborik score just over 30 seconds into period 1 and the Mighty Ducks Faithful knew it was going to a long night. Patrick Maroon came back midway through the first to tie the score at 1-1 on a Ducks Power Play. Then it was Alec Martinez a Slapper past Ducks Net minder Jonas Hiller to make it 2-1. That score stood the rest of the way until the Ducks empty the net and Dwight King of the Kings go wrister to make it 3-1 the final score.

Hiller stopped 14 of 16 shots s his counterpart Quick was way more busier. The Numbers across the board minus the SOG were all about the same as the Kings just played typical Kings Hockey in front of Quick with a lead and it stood for two periods after the Ducks scored in the first. Kings Marian Gaborik might need to cool off in the Pacific and the Ducks need to put him there as he has hit the Phone Booth and turned into Gabroik of the Minnesota Wild.

Thursday May 8th Game 3 will commence and the Ducks will have a good 68 plus hours to think about this one and get to Game 3 Business...
