The Houston Rockets shuffled that Starting Line Up using Turkey's Omer Asik instead of Portland Native and former #BBN Star Terrence Jones at the Small Forward. Well the Rockets grab game #5 and they get an "All Hands on Toyota Center Hardwood" with a resounding 108-98 victory!
The Rockets leading after then 3rd frame 82-77 was nip and tuck with Rip City from the eight minute mark all the way until the game was 100-98 Rockets with just under four minutes to go. The Rockets being clutch closed on a 8-0 run as the Blazers could not find the hole. Dwight Howard led H-Town with 22 points and fourteen boards. Jeremy Lin with McHale going with the hot hand added 21 points with Parsons 20 and James Harden 17. The Rockets were +14 on the glass and that was huge!
The Blazers get 26 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists from Damian Lillard playing like a 10-year All-Star as he is the "Truth" and nothing but the "Truth". Wes Matthews goes game-high 27 points (5-9 3pt FG) with Robin Lopez adding 17 and Nicolas Batum 15. The L-Train must have been waiting on Thomas, Henry, and Percy at the Station as he goes 8 points and eight boards and Rip City needed more from him to hit then Winner's Circle.
