I remember some MLB Analysts saying the Washington Nationals with their excellent starting pitching and "Bam 34" dba Bryce Harper would put away the NL East and the 2015 NY Mets after the break. Well here we are its August 2K15 and the Amazins' just put away the Nats in a Three-Piece Sweep powered by "Our starting pitching is better than your starting pitching" and Mets "Big Fly" most notably Lucas Duda.

Mets starter Noah Syndergaard has been on a tear of late and with the help of three bombs of the Ash, Maple, and Bamboo of the Metropolitans Players he get the "W". Noah went eight strong and allowed just two runs on seven hits as he struck out two. He gave up a solo HR to Anthony Rendon in frame one making it 1-0 Nats.

Nats Starter Jordan Zimmermann had his own issues in the 3rd as the Mets hit not one or two but three Big Flies of "Zim" for a crooked five in the 3rd. Curtis Granderson and Lucas Duda both went two-run HR as Daniel Murphy's solo blast was sandwiched in between those two. Citi Field by after those "bombs was absolutely going '86 Amazins Nut Factory...and yes I went there!

The Mets sweep the three piece moving into first place in the NL Eats at 55-50. More importantly the Mets starters out pitched the Nats starters and outplayed the Nats period. Washington falls to 54-49 as thy just need to get the heck out of Citi Field and hopefully won't forget to grab half their back side on the way out!
