The St. Louis Cardinals took that 5-4 loss on the chin last night after the San Francisco Giants went walk-off. The mark of a good team is to quickly forget the last game and move onto the next and that in a "Nutshell" is "Matheny Ball". The Redbirds did that behind a masterful performance by starter Lance Lynn and blanks the Champs 6-0.

Lynn goes seven strong shutout frames for his 11th "W" of 2K15. He was matched through four frames by his counterpart Gigantes starter Ryan Vogelsong who also had four shutout frames until the 5th. The Redbirds broke open a scoreless affair as they put up a crooked four to go up 4-0 as that was all Lynn would need. They would add two more runs in the 9th for a 6-0 win as Vogelsong falls to 9-10 in 2K15.

The Redbirds move to 83-46 and as we go to press that is four game sup on the Pittsburgh Pirates and nine games up on the Cubbies! The Giants fall to 69-60 and three games back of the Dodgers as L.A.D. entertains the North Siders at Chavez Ravine later tonight!
