The New York Mets are all business as they came into tonight's game vs the Colorado Rockies with the Washington Nationals breathing right down their backs with a two game lead. That lead is now 2.5 games as we go to press as Matt Harvey strikes again for Gotham City Hardball Blue/Orange blanking the Colorado Rockies 4-0.

The "Dark Knight" throws a four-hitter in eight frames striking out four as Citi Field has the "Buzz" that is spelling October Hardball could be on both sides of the Big Apple! Rox starter Chris Rusin was also on his game as he didn't allow a run until late as the game was scoreless through five.

It was a Ruben Tejada RBI single in the 6th opening up the scoring making it 1-0 Mets. Then in the 8th a Curtis Granderson bases-loaded walk added to that 1-0 lead making it 2-0. Juan Lagares then goes two RBI double breaking open the game as the Amazins' led 4-0. That Mets hitting parade was led by Lagares going 3 for 5 with Dan Murphy, Michael Cuddyer and Wilmer Flores all getting two hits.

New York as we go to press is 61-52 leading the NL East and the Rox fall to 47-64 in a really really bad stretch of Hardball...
