The Chicago Cubs behind Ace Jake Arrieta (14-6) and a Texas Leaguer here and "Bloop" Single there betas the South Siders again off the Dan Ryan Expressway by the score of 6-3. Arrieta goes 6 2/3 frames allowing three runs (2 ER) on five hits as the Cubs Pen also comes through. Cubbies Captain Save-A-Game Hector Rondon gets his 21st save of 2K15 and Cubs Nation is starting to get that October Feeling!

The Sox give them credit they struck first in the 2nd on a fielder's choice making it 1-0 Sox. A Dexter Fowler double in the 3rd tied the game at 1-1 with Kyle Schwarber going RBI single in the 5th for a Cubs 2-1 lead. Both teams scored a run in the 6th but the North Siders still led 3-2.

Then in the 7th with Sox starter Jose Quintana gone after six the Cubbies put up a crooked three highlighted by two RBI singles making it 6-2 North Siders. The Sox would add another in the bottom half of the 7th but that would be it as the Cubbies win 6-3.

Chicago moves to 67-48 with the Pale Hose falling to 54-60. Sox Skipper Robin Ventura was tossed out the game for arguing balls and strikes after he visited the mound to compound things for the South Siders.

Chris Sale will be going for the Sox on Sunday as that might be their only bright light shining heading into game #3 for the Sox!
