As we get the last two games before Thursday September 3rd Auditions for the 53-man roster we get two solid games. The 1's should be on display as it's all about the QB in both as the Texans starter Brian Hoyer has more than a leg up on his back up Ryan "No Show" Mallett. Let's talk games for Sunday August 30, 2015...
The Texans march into the Superdome with their #1 QB in Brian Hoyer was named started last week. That led to QB Ryan Mallett missing a whole practice late last week saying he over slept. The NFL Signal-Caller has to have some leadership qualities and if he doesn't lookout!
Meanwhile the Texans Offense needs to get some kinks out at RB and at WR. Who will be the #1 RB will it be Alfred Blue or Chris Polk as he in my guesstimation has passed #1 RB Jon Grimes? Then who plays #3 WR to #1 WR DeAndre Hopkins and #2 WR Nate Washington...as 2K13 3rd round pick WR Jaelen Strong might not even make that 53-man roster?
For the Saints 2nd-year WR Brandin Cooks has been out of sight but its the "Big" WR in Brandon Coleman. Coleman has been "Awesome" in camp and in games. That Jimmy Graham for Max Unger Trade is looking more and more like a win/win as Unger will have that O-Line in better shape then it has been in quite sometime.
The Saints "D" will be looking for someone to add to that Pass Rush not names Cameron Jordan. 2K15 Saints #1 Pick ILB Stephone Anthony of "Death Valley Orange" dba Clemson Tigers adds quality depth at backer. DE Akiem Hicks will star opposite of Jordan and he is #76 in your #GeauxSaints Program!
The Cardinals are ready to fly as QB Carson Palmer goes #BirdGang goes its that simple. The "D" is more than ready and it will be on the offense. Scat back/WR John Brown has been wreaking havoc on opposing defenses as he has been a tough lining up everywhere but in the Neutral Zone. The Cardinals at least on paper this might be their year. Former Rise Up Star ILB Sean Weatherspoon might be their new impact player on "D" as he has missed two seasons straight before the Falcons letting him walk.
Oakland is under new direction and 2nd year QB Derek Carr must take the necessary steps to becoming a solid QB leading the Silver and Black. The Raiders 2K15 #1 overall pick WR Amari Cooper is the "Truth" and he will be opposite of "Crab of Fisherman's Wharf" in former 49ers WR Michael Crabtree. FB Marcel Reese is the best kept-secret in the "Shield" and he should be even more dominant with Cooper on then outside.
That Raiders "D" with 2nd-year Stud OLB/DE Khalil Mack will be lining up with his hands on the ground more getting after the QB. Can that 2nd level led by Saints castoff MLB Curtis Lofton and future NFL HOF Charles Woodson hold that unit together navigating through the AFC West?
