Look the mark of a solid unit in the show is the ability to adjust from frame to frame and game by game. The 2K15 Chicago Cubs and who knows where they are headed will be remembered as the North Siders who sipped Joe Maddon Kool-Aid until the Joe Maddon Kool-Aid ran out. As we go to press  unfortunately for the opposition a Windy City block of Trucks filled with enough Joe Maddon Kool-Aid to drink through November is sitting on Addison. What does that mean...figure it out Cubs Nation and 162 Heads we might have Hardball on the North Side through Halloween 2K15!

With starters Matt Garza (Brewers) and Jason Hammel (Cubs) long gone and both getting a no-decision it was up to the Pens  and both Pens handled business. The Brew Crew tied he game in the 9th when the Ugly Hector Rondon appeared and unleashed a Wild Pitch (WP) with Brewers OF Ryan Braun on 3rd as he scored tying the game.

Then in the bottom of the 10th with score still knotted at 2-2 and the Cubs Pens going 1-2-3 through the Brewers Hitters in the top half of the 10th this happened...

On an 0-1 Pitch after throwing the Local (Curve) to Cubs Hitter Miguel Montero...Montero was looking for the Express (Fastball) from Brewers reliever Michael Blazek and Montero didn't miss. A seed to the Wrigley CF Bleacher Bums and that was all she wrote...Cubs win...Cubs win...Cubs win...and the amazing 2K15 season is reaching new heights.

Chicago moving to a season-high 16 games over .500 is now within 1.5 games of the 2nd place Buccos in the NL Central. More importantly the North Siders are putting some distance between the Gigantes and others vying for that #2 wild card slot.

Go Cubs go as "Maddon Ball" strikes and here comes the Cubbies coming on the inside pole down the back straightaway...
