The Pittsburgh Steelers after a sluggish starts with concerning the Starters rebound nicely to get a 24-19 win  over the Green Bay Packers who looked really good with their starters on both sides of the Wilson pigskin.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and RB Eddy Lacey led Green Bay down the field on their initial drive for six and a two-point conversion making it 8-0 "Pack". That Steelers "D" came right back later in the 1st frame with a "Safety" as James Harrison and Steelers 2K15 top pick Bud Dupree sacked A-Rog in the end zone for a 8-2 score.

Big Ben and Company got it cranking in the 2nd frame scoring on a 7 play 51 yard series for a Markus Wheaton TD making it 10-8 after a successful extra-point kick. The "Pack" 2nd Unit came back after the Steelers score scoring on a 21-yard TD pass from QB Scott Tolzien making it 16-9.

Both teams kicked FGs in the 3rd making it 19-12 as Steelers 3rd QB Landry Jones rallied Pittsburgh for 12 unanswered points and a 24-19 score. That win was the first for the Steelers in the pre-season but might come at a cost for both teams.

On the Packers 1st drive WR Jordy Nelson unmolested after a grab went down with what many are calling a season-ending Torn ACL of the right knee. The Steelers lose Twin #53 dba Maurkice Pouncey to a serious ankle injury and DE Stephon Tuitt to what looked to be a knee injury as both were carted-off.

Not good for both teams as all those injuries await the MRI to see the real damage...
