The New York Mets Wednesday Night starter Bartolo Colon knew going in all he had to do was throw strikes and keep the damage to a minimum. He did just that as the Amazins' hit the Philadelphia Phillies again in the "Chops" with a crooked three in the 1st frame on their way to an easy 9-4 victory.

That three-run 1st frame was highlighted by a Michael Cuddyer RBI double and a Michael Conforto RBI single. Colon took that run support on the Amazins' favorite Energy Drink and went seven scoreless allowing five hits and striking out eight moving his 2K15 W-Lto 11-11.

New York was up 4-0 when Michael Cuddyer took Phillies reliever Hector Neris deep for a two-run blast making it 6-0. The Phightin' Phils made it interesting in the bottom half of the 8th putting up a crooked four only to see New York bounce back with a crooked three in their half of the 9th.  Philadelphia starter Jerad Eickhoff takes the loss as he was hit in the 1st frame with those three runs.

Amazins' Captain Save-A-Game Tyler Clippard gets his 19th save of 2K15 as the new Amazins' move to 70-56. The Phightin' Phils fall to 50-77 as the NL East Race is slowly becoming an Team Flushing Meadows Hardball World...can you say slide over '86 Amazins'!
