Who is the lead Donut-Runner/Car Washer on the Junior Circuit as we head into September Hardball and the stretch to get to October Hardball? Hands down as we go to press it's all about the "Next in Line" for Show Stardom in Houston Astros Shortstop Carlos Correa.

Correa has come on like a Vet who has shown this is not his first Rodeo. He has some elite company but this kid is the real deal and not since Derek Jeter or even Alex Rodriguez has the Show see since promise at Shortstop. Let's talk the Top 5 AL Rookie of the Year Candidates as we go to press on Thursday August 27, 2015:

"Word around the Warning Track"
2K15 AL Rookie of the Year
dba
2K15 Junior Circuit
#1 Donut Runner/Car Washer

Top 5 in the Mix as of Thursday August 27, 2015

1. SS Carlos Correa #StrosShow #HTownHardball

Forget his .278 average with 15 HR 43 RBI with 37 runs and 16 two-baggers in just 68 games Correa is all that scattered smothered and covered. He has been the best Rook on the Junior Circuit since the Mid Summers Classic and he and teammate second baseman Jose Altuve dba "Pocket Avenger" is the future #1 Duo up in the middle in the show!

2. 3B Miguel Sano #Twinkies #TwinCitiesHardball

I know what your thinking where is Twins 5-Star Prospect CF Byron Buxton well he is there but as we go to press it's all about Sano. In 46 games and 162 appearances at the dish he has 30 free passes and that is simply Plate Discipline. Throw in a .284 average with 37 Ribbies and a dozen Bombs you had better get the Twinkies now as he and Buxton will light the Junior Circuit up in 2016 with 162 ahead of them.

3. SS Francisco Lindor #Tribe #ClevelandHardballRocks

Just when you though the future at SS in the Show and on the Junior Circuit belonged to Correa here comes then Tribes Francisco Lindor. Just like Correa with 68 games under his belt he can rake with a .310 average with 7 HRs and 30 RBI and 46 base on balls. Look if Correa falls slightly and this Kid keeps raking adding more hits w/extra base hits...lookout!

4. Closer Roberto Osuna #BlueBirds #JaysNation

Are you kidding me we are talking about a 20 year-old Captain Save-A-Game who has 15 saves (16 SVO) and a 1.94 ERA and his squad is smack dab in the middle of a pennant race.  The 'Jays took off after that MLB Trade Deadline where they picked up Stars "Tulo" and D-Price but this kid might be the key in September.

5. 2B Devon Travis #BlueBirds #JaysNation

Mr. Travis will learn a lot from his new SS Troy Tulowitzki but before "Tulo" arrived he was already doing major work. a .304 average (3rd on the 'Jays)  with 8 HR and 35 RBI  in 62 games with 38 runs. Travis will be the second baseman for the 'Jays for years to come as the Junior Circuit is loaded with 5-Star Talent in the infield.
