Toronto Blue Jays starter Mark Buerhle didn't need much run support but probably knew the way the Blue Birds have been eating at the dish he would get more than enough. Detroit Tigers starter Alfredo Simon had to be thinking make these guys hit the ball off their "Sweet Spots" as Simon didn't and the Motor City Kitties again victims of the Long Ball "North of the Border"!

It was Josh Donaldson and Edwin Encarnacion taking Simon deep in the 1st for a 2-0 lead as they went Solo Bombs. In the 2nd it was 'Jays CF Kevin Pillar getting in on the act going two-run blast off Simon making it 4-0 'Jays as we picking the one common theme in the 'Jays three-piece sweep of Detroit Hardball.

Then in the 4th 'Jays back stop Russell Martin takes Simon deep for another two-run Dinger and "We the North" Hardball was off to a 6-0 lead through four. Buerhle would go six allowing just two runs as would get the win and move to 14-6. The 'Jays would add three more to the Tab and win going away 9-2.

Toronto with the Yankees staying close moves to 74-56 as New York is 71-54 just two games back. The Motor City Kitties all but done at 60-70 tied with the Carmines in the AL Wild Card some 8 games back of the #2 Rangers talking Wild Card!
