Chicago Cubs RHP Jake "You can call me the Ace for now" Arrieta keeps "Maddon Ball" on the winning track as the Cubbies beat the San Francisco Giants 8-3 on Tuesday Night.  Jake was locked in as he has been for over two months now and the Run Support was right on time with crooked numbers!

The Cubs in the 3rd off Gigantes starter Matt Cain gets a three-run tater from Kyle Schwarber making it 3-0 Cubs. Then in the 4th it was a Miguel Montero two-run tater off Cain making it 5-0 Cubs as they would add another run that frame on a Tommy La Stella RBI single for a 6-0 Cubs lead.

Cain would exit after the 5th as his tab was "Large and in Charge" giving up six runs on eight hits and two via the "Tater"! Cubs Shortstop Starlin Castro then took Giants reliever Yusmeiro Petit deep for a Solo Blast as the Cubs would add another making it 8-0 Cubbies. Arrieta (6 IP 4 H R 0 ER BB 8 SO) would move to 16-6 in 2015 and picking up a head of steam for NL Cy Young...yes indeed!

The Gigantes  woke up late as they scored one on Arrieta in the 6th making 8-1 Cubbies but in the 8th San Fran rallied! The Gigantes hung a crooked four up in the 8th highlighted by a Andrew Susac based-loaded clearing double accounting for three of the four runs. Cubbies Skipper Joe Maddon finally after his 2nd visit went to Pedro Strop as he got Kelby Tomlinson to pop out to Anthony Rizzo ending the rally.

Cubbies Captain Save-A-Game Hector Rondon comes in the bottom of the 9th and goes 1-2-3 and that's your ball game. "Maddon Ball" moves to 73-51 just two games back of the Buccos for the #1 NL Wild Card. The Redbirds becomes the first team in the Show to hit 80 W's eating Diamondback Rattler Tacos in the B.O.B.!

The Gigantes fall to 66-59 falling three games back of the NL West leading Dodgers as they beat the Red Stockings earlier in the night...
