The Toronto Blue Jays in the middle of a nine-game win streak puts a crooked three up early for starter Drew Hutchison and edges the visiting Oakland Athletics 4-2. "Hutch" went a cool seven giving up two runs on four hits as he moves to 11-2.

That wasn't the whole story as Joey Bats dba Jose Bautista took A's starter Kendall Graveman deep in the 5th for a solo shot that added to an already 3-1 lead making it 4-1. Graveman would be pulled right after that blast falling to 6-8 as he was charged with 4 runs and two earned runs.

The Blue Birds crooked three they put up in the 2nd was highlighted by a Justin Smoak RBI two-bagger. The A's would add another run in the 8th on a Billy Burns RBI single making it 4-2 as the Jays win streak goes to 9 and they are 62-52 as the Yanks are just 1.5 games up as we go to press.

Oakland falls to 51-62 as they are almost dunzo in last place in the AL West...
