The Toronto Blue Jays knew exactly who they were getting when the traded for former Rays Ace and Cy Young winner then Detroit Tigers Ace David Price from SEC Hardball Powerhouse the Vanderbilt Commodores. Gritty and Competitive almost to a fault as the Minnesota Twins knew what was coming and just could not stop it!

After a scoreless first frame Twins Vet Torii Hunter greeted Price with a solo blast in the 2nd for a Twins 1-0 lead. In the 'Jays bottom half Ryan Goins homered to center taking Twinkies starter Ervin Santana for a solo shot knotting thing up at 1-1.

The Blue Birds then took over as Josh Donaldson took Santana yard for a two-run bomb making it 3-1 as Santana would take the loss going six giving up three runs. Price was cruising at that point going eight strong allowing one run striking out eleven. Both Justin Smoak and Edwin Encarnacion added RBI singles in the 7th for insurance.

More importantly the 'Jays need to get back into the AL Wild Card Race and maybe make a push for the Bronx Bombers for the AL East as they move to 55-52. The Twinkies fall to 54-51 as they are also in the middle of the AL Wild Card .
