A see saw affair featuring the San Francisco Giants and Chicago Cubs led to a 8-6 victory for the North Siders highlighted by Cubbies All-Star Hot Corner Kris Bryant doing what he does. The Gigantes late rally in the 9th where they hung up a crooked three fell short as Chicago stretches out that NL Wild Card #2 lead.

The Cubbies opened the game up on Gigantes starter Matt Cain (L, 2-3) scoring one in the first of a Kris Bryant force out. San Fran came right back on Chicago starter Kyle Hendricks (W, 6-5) in the 2nd with a Brandon Belt two-run HR making it 2-1 San Fran. The Cubbies would come right back in their half of the 3rd on a Bryant two-run blast putting Chicago up 3-2 after three.  Brandon Crawford doubled in a run in the 4th tying the game up at 3-3 as we went to the 5th all knotted up.

With Matt Cain after four the Cubbies get two off of Gigantes middle man George Kontos making it 5-3 Cubs. Chicago would add three more much-needed runs in the 8th highlighted by two singles and a Dexter Fowler triple making it 8-3 Chicago.

Jason Motte would get into some 9th frame trouble for the North Siders as Justin Grimm would save him and save the game after the Gigantes hung a crooked three in the 9th...Cubs win 8-6.  If the Cubbies have any real weaknesses its that Pen by Town Hall Meeting and that will get you in trouble playing games towards Halloween 2K15.

Chicago moves to 61-48 while San Fran falls to 59-51...
