The L.A Kings came with a onslaught as did the New York Rangers playing in Elimination Mode saves their season grit and grinding to a 2-1 victory. The Rangers first goal came on a Benoit Pouliot Goal at the 7:25 mark to make the score 1-0 Rangers. King Henrik stopped 11 SOG in the 1st to Quick stopping 6 of 7 SOG.

Martin St. Louis struck in the 2nd to make it 2-0 as it looked like the Rangers were going run away with game 4 finally. These are the 2013-14 L.A. Kings dba "Cardiac Monarchs" and a little over two minutes after the St. Louis Goal Kings Captain Dustin Brown scores on a breakaway to make the score 2-1. Little did we know then that would be the final as King Henrik stopped 40 of 41 on net as the Kings lived around the Blue Paint all night long.  Quick stopped 17 of 19 as the Blue Shirts didn't have a lot of chances but were quality chances.

Monarchs LW Tanner Pearson had eight shots to lead L.A. and the Blue Shirts get three shots each from St. Louis, D Ryan McDonagh, and C Derek Stepan. Fittingly enough the Rangers head back to L.A. for Game 5 on Friday the 13th of June and there is a Full Moon in the forecast....lookout Monarchs!

Kings lead the Series 3-1...
