'Jays Lead-Off Extraordinaire and one-time Senior Circuit M.V.P. Jose Reyes of then the Amazins' starts off the Three-Piece with the Bronx Bombers with a bang! Reyes takes 10-game Winner Masahiro Tanaka of Japan on a Short Porch Line Drive 9-Iron looking Long Ball to give the Blue Birds a 1-0 lead. Little did anyone know Tanaka would settles down putting the Blue Birds on Six Inning Lock down no Ducks cross the Dish and get his MLB leading 11th "W".

The 'Jays did nothing else as Tanaka scattered just four more hits through six striking out ten Blue Jays for his 11th Victory of 2014. His Offense came from Yanks OF Brett Gardner who takes 'Jays Starter Marcus Stroman for a Two-Run HR in the 3rd and the Yanks never looked back. Stroman gets chased in the 4th as he allowed two runs on four hits through 3 2/3 innings for the loss. The 'Jays Offense 2-5 after Reyes (Melky Cabrera, Jose Bats, Encarnacion, and Lawrie) were a combined 3 for 15 and that is not getting it done.

The Bombers with the win moves to 36-33 and 3.5 game back of the Blue Birds who fall to 41-31...
