ITALY 0 COSTA RICA 1 F...COSTA RICA shocks the ITALIANS as ENGLAND gets sent packing and advances to the Field of 16 "FIFA WORLD CUP 2014" #ITAvsCRC

Before the World Cup the Costa Ricans were by many at best 50-1 to win Group D and low and behold Costa Rica has taken over Group D in a Rio De Janiero Minute. They beat the Italians 1-0 to advance to the round of 16 as Italy looked like they needed a shot of Monster Energy Drink, Red Bull, and even 5-Hour Energy as they lacked energy and ha poor body language throughout the match.  

Costa Rica scored in the 44th minute right before the half  a shot by Midfielder Bryan Ruiz as that lone goal stood up for a 1-0 Costa Rica Win. Italy's Super Mario Balotelli only had three shots and one on goals with only 28 touches and a Yellow Card to boot. Italy dominated Time of Possession which is becoming the most overrated stat in the World Cup and in passes. Lucky for the Italians as they still get to redeem themselves as they now are in am Must-Win Situation in their next outing vs Uruguay.

Group D looks like this as we go to press...Costa Rica 6 pts...Italy 3 pts...Uruguay 3 pts...and England eliminated.
