The New York Mets add to the Miami Marlins worst home stand this season as they beat the Marlins 11-5 on Sunday and win three of four in the Four-Piece NL East Treat. That loss has the Marlins 3-7 in the current home stand as they had the best W-L in the Show playing in the Home Dugout through May.

The Amazins' wasted no time on Sunday putting up crooked numbers in consecutive innings and also a huge 7th inning that propelled them to victory. Curtis Granderson (3 for 5 w/ 2 Runs), Kirk Niewewnhuis (2 for 5 w/2 RBI Run), and Daniel Murphy (2 for 5 w/2 Runs 3 RBI) led the charge for the Metropolitans as they cored two in the 2nd and 3rd and three in the 4th. Murphy had the biggest blow off Marlins Pitching taking Starter Anthony DeSciafani for a three-Run Blast in the 4th. DeSciafani gave up seven runs on seven hits through just 3 2/3 innings taking the "L".

Back to Amazins' Starter Jon Niese he allowed three runs on six hits through six striking out four as Giancarlo Stanton and Marcell Ozuna led the Fish collecting two hist apiece. The Mets move to 35-41 just five games back of the NL East leading Nats while the Fish fall 37-38 just 2.5 games back in the NBL East as they are under .500 for the first time since late April.
