The L.A. Kings improbable run to their 2nd Lord Stanley Cup in three seasons was capped off by a Alec Martinez Game-Winning Tip-In in the 2nd set of Extras. The New York Rangers may have played their best hockey of h series in Game 5 in L.A. as it just wasn't meant to be.

The Blue Shirts United fell behind 1-0 after one on a Justin Williams (2014 Conn Smythe Winner) Backhand to make it 1-0. The Blue Shirts United not to be denied gets a Chris Kreider Goal with under five minutes left on a Power Play to tie the game up at 1-1. Then with just under 40 seconds remaining in the 2nd Rangers Brian Boyle strikes on a Shorthand Goal to make it 2-1 Rangers as Staples went dead silent!

In the 3rd it was a Marian Gaborik (former Ranger) lighting the lamp just eight minutes into the last frame to tie the score up at 2-2. It went to the first OT where there were 23 SOG (13 by Kings) and 20 of them hit the Post...Lol! Then in the 2nd OT off of a Tyler Toffoli Shot Martinez tip-in was the game-winner and the Monarchs grab Lord Stanley once again.

Kings had 51 SOG to the Rangers 30 SOG as both teams scored a goal each on a Power Play. Kings go 16-10 to win the Cup and all three Series in the West went 7 Games winning all three Game 7's out of the Motel and how about them Bauer Composite Blades!

Congrats to the 2013-14 Lord Stanley Cup Champion L.A. Kings...
