KNICKS & MAVS Big Trade....TYSON n FELTON to Big D for CALDERON, ELLINGTON, DALEMBERT, LARKIN, and the 34th and 51st Picks in the 2014 NBA DRAFT..."SQUEEZE the ORANGE" on the Eve of the 2014 NBA Draft simmering in the Croc Pot!

The New York Knicks when the Zen Master took the job the 1st order of Business was speaking to the "Bully" "Melo Anthony and the next was telling Ray Felton dba "Guns and Cheeseburgers" that he would be dealt this summer. Well all that was true but I didn't know it was going to go down like this.

Through numerous Media Outlets the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks have reached an agreement to trade the following Players and Draft Picks in the 2014 NBA Draft:

MAVS get: 

C Tyson Chandler
PG Ray Felton

KNICKS get:

PG Jose Calderon
SG Wayne Ellington
C Samuel Dalembert
PG Shane Larkin
31st and 54th Picks in 2014 NBA Draft

Now the Mavs get what they never should have given up in Tyson Chandler. Chandler has $14.6 million left on his current deal for the 2014-15 season. Felton has $4.36 Million for the 2014-15 season and a $4.54 million Player Option for the 2015-16 season. Look for Felton maybe to be dealt at a later date or bought out possibly.

The Knicks need Caldron and Dalembert as Larkin will be on a Rookie Deal and Ellington only has $2.5 million for the 2014-15 season left on his current contract. Those Picks could mean more trades as the Mavs simply saw no one that could help them at this stage at where they are trying to go.

Now does all this get the Knicks Tape Hash Tags #StayMELO or #StrayMELO  as only time will tell. From the looks of it the Zen Master looks like he is going to blow it up and rebuild rather than pay 'Melo Anthony all that cash!
