The Red Sox need this Home Stand to make a stand in the AL East and Rubby De La Rosa answered the bell on Monday Night. De La Rosa goes seven on a one-hitter as the Carmines Pen held it down for him to get the "W" despite the Red Sox Hitters going 0-7 with Runners in Scoring Position. Rubby did walk three and strike out three but the Sox get a much-needed win to maybe kick start their rise in the AL East before the Midsummer's Classic in the Twin Cities at Target Field.

The Bo Sox Offense was supplied by a Sac-Fly in the 5th by Back Stop A.J. Pierzynski scoring Daniel Nava. Twinkies Starter Kevin Corriea pitched well enough to win the game giving up that Sac-Fly in the 5th going six allowing just five hits and striking out two. Minnesota loses with three hits as that Twinkies Offense was inept to say the least. Bo Sox Captain Save-A-Game Koji Uehara gets his 15 saves going 1-2-3 in the ninth.

The Sox move to 32-38 and that is good for 4th in the AL East and 8.5 game back of the Blue Birds. The Twinkies fall to 32-36 replacing the Pale Hose for last in the AL Central but just 5.5 games back of the Central leading Motor City Kitties!
