The Colorado Rockies goes into McCovey Cove and grabs a Three-Piece through the Front gate from Orange October dba San Francisco Giants in June. The Rox did it with timely hitting all series long and Sunday was no different.

The Rockies Starter Juan Nicasio was lit up by the Giants and lasted just into the 3rd by giving up three runs on four hits as he walked four Giants. The Rox get two back in the 3rd when "Tulo" took Gigantes Starter Madison Bumgarner deep for a Two-Run Blast to make the score 3-2 Giants. The Giants put two more up in the 4th with a little Long Ball of their own with Solo Shots from Panda Smash Sandoval and Hector Sanchez to make it 5-2 Giants.  Rox put one more up in the 5th to make it 5-3 Giants when Giants Starter Bumgarner takes Rox Reliever Frank Morales deep for a Solo Shot to make it 6-3 Giants. Bumgarner left after seven leading 7-4 and on the hook for the "W" when things went left for San Fran Hardball.

In the top of the 8th with the score 7-4 Giants the Rox light up Giants Middle Man Javier Lopez for four runs in just 2/3 of an inning to make the score 8-76 Rox. Two singles, a double, and a triple and throw in a walk and the Rox were off and running again in the lat innings. The Giants were finished by 70 year-old LaTroy Hawkins as he once pitched for "Dem Bums" in Ebbett's Field in Flatbush!

Rox move to 34-35 and that is 8.5 behind the Giants. The Gigantes stay 6.5 games ahead of Dodger Blue at 43-27...in NL West Happenings!
