They play 162 but I didn't see this coming as the Cincinnati Reds go into AT&T Park and take not one, not two, not three, but four-piece from the NL West leading Giants and they did it from "Bump" and some timely hitting!

Red Legs speedy CF Billy Hamilton started the scoring in the 3rd with an RBI Double scoring Skip Shumacker to make it 1-0 Reds. Giants Starter Tim "Huddy" Hudson (L 7-5...8 IP 5 H 2 R 2 ER 0 BB 6 SO)   pitched extremely well giving the Home Team a shot as they didn't bring any lumber to the park and haven't in most of June. The Red Legs put a crooked three up in the top half of the 9th to seal the victory and preserve the shutout.

Red Legs Starter Homer "I throw a No No at least once per 162" Bailey was magnificent. His Tab...CG 3 H 0 R 1 BB 7 SO as he had that Giants Line Up off balance all game long. Giants First Baseman/Back Stop Buster Posey broke up the No No in the bottom half of the 7th with a single. The Reds out scored the Giants 20-6 in the four-piece dominating wit their starting pitching.

The Red Legs now leave town at 42-38 and that is good for 2nd in the NL Central 6.5 games behind the Brew Crew. The San Francisco Giants now fall back into a tie with the L.A. Dodgers in the NL West after the Team Chavez Ravine was trailing the Gigantes by 9.5 games just two weeks ago.
