Team Italy and Team England gets a tough draw as they are in he same group and held nothing back in their 1st match in the 2k14 World Cup. On display were thew likes of Wayne Rooney and Mario Balotelli among others as the Group D already had a leader in Costa Rica who shocked Uruguay earlier in the day.

The Italians in the 1st half started the scoring with a goal from Claudio Marchisio to move up 1-0 in the 35th minute. the English came right back as Daniel Sturridge even the score at 1-1 in the 37th minute. Both Teams had early chances but were a tad bit off with all that adrenaline running early.

In the 2nd half just five minutes in in the 50th minute Mario Balotelli dba "Super Mario of the Boot on the Mediterranean" scores to put the Italians up to stay 2-1 and the group D is now led by Italy and Costa Rica with three point each as the England and Uruguay will have to play catch up!
With Time of Possession almost even it came down to who was going to execute the perfect play to get the lead and that was a beautiful cross pass to Balotelli for the Header and the lead and subsequently the match for the Italians.
