Ex-Mets Starter Scott Kazmir came into tonight's Inter League Two-Piece vs the Mets with a sparkling 9-2 W-L leading the A's in W's. What he didn't bank on was the Mets greeting him with an Amazins' -Like Party.

The Mets jumped all over "Kaz" in the 2nd and 3rd chasing him after three with a Seven Spot! Both Curtis Granderson (2-Run HR) and Chris Young (Solo HR) greeted him in the 2nd. The Athletics lone Run came off the bat of A's OF Yoenis Cespedes going Two-Bagger scoring CoCo Crisp. Believe it or not the Amazins' are just five games out of the NL East at 36-41. The Athletics fall to 47-30 which is still the best W-L on the Junior Circuit and four games ahead of those Rally Monkeying Halos...for whatever that was worth!
