In the games of games thus far in World Cup 2014 Action as we enter the Knockout Stages the Games will only get better and better. They probably won't be as good as the one you just witnessed as the Chileans take the Brazilians to the brink of elimination as the Futbol Gods answer those Brazilian Prayers at least for now.
Brazil first scored as David Luiz kicks in a rebound in the 18th minute to make it 1-0 Brazil. The Chileans come right back in the 32nd minute as Alexis Sanchez strikes on a left footer past Brazilian Goalkeeper Julio Cesar to tie the game at 1-1. The game was back and forth as we head into two extra frames and then enter the Penalty Kicks in which Neymar Jr. strikes the 3rd Kick to move Brazil up 3-2 and Chilean Gonzalo Jara right foots one as it hits the left Goal Post and stayed out of the net....and Brazil dodges a huge bullet and advance to the final 8 in dramatic fashion.
The Momentum of Brazilian Goalkeeper Julio Cesar stopping both Chilean Players Mauricio Pinilla and Alexis Sanchez in the first two Chilean Penalty Kicks was huge. The miss by Brazil's "Hawk" was just as big as he missed the 4th Brazil Kick. Brazil's David Luiz was huge as he scored the first goal and penalty kick for the Brazilians as he and goalkeeper Cesar were easily the Players of the Game as Hulk also had an outstanding game besides hi missed PK. Chilean Goalkeeper Claudio Bravo did what he could but could not stop Brazil in Penalty Kicks when he had to.
That is Futbol at it's best right there and it will only get better...trust me on that!
Stand Up BRAZLIANS and party like it's 1999!.....Lol!
