The Milwaukee Brewers started out fast and to their credit have held up their end of the bargain as they are still leading the NL Central. The Nats trying to give the NL East that NAT-itude is right there at the top of the heap of a NL East Race that includes all five teams as we go to press.

It was the Brewers though on "Get Away Day" in the Big Keg dba Miller Park lighting up the scoreboard and Nats Ace Stephen Strasburg. The Nats Ace was charged with seven runs in just 4 2/3 innings on eight hits as the Brewers big blow came of the Bat of Second Baseman Scooter Gennett and 2nd inning "Grand Slam". The Brewers would go onto to score five more as they beat the Nats 9-2. Strasburg also gave up a Solo Blast to the Brewers Khris Davis in the 4th inning.

Brew Crew Starter Marco Estrada went 6 1/3 innings giving up just two hits and two runs. He walked four and struck out the same amount as he moves to 7-4 in 2014. The Nats Line Up was led by Star Shortstop Ian Desmond who went 2 for 4.

The "Piwowarzy" moves to an NL Best 48-32 while the Nats fall to 41-36...
