The Pittsburgh Pirates showed everyone in the Majors that they are a team to be reckoned with as we hit the late stages of " A Cup of Joe on the Show Report" at Bluedude Sportstalk. Two closely contested games by the scores of 5-4 and 6-5 turns into a route  on ESPN Sunday Night Hardball as the Buccos go 13-6 hitting the winner's circle.

Do the math for the three-piece featuring LAD and #BUCN it was Pirates 24 Dodgers 15 as Pittsburgh is chasing the Big League's #1 Outfit from Baseball Town U.S.A. playing "Matheny Ball" in the St. Louis Cardinals.

Where do you start on tonight's 13-6 blowout as Dodgers reliever Jim Johnson was charged with 8 runs all coming in the nine run 7th frame. That frame was highlighted by a three-run Tater by Bucs Hot Corner Jung Ho Kang as he added the three runs after the Pirates had already scored six. The Dodgers led 5-3 heading into the 7th after dodging a huge frame from the Buccos in the 6th.

Pittsburgh moves to 65-44 just five games back of the NL Central leading Redbirds who are at robust 71-40. The Dodgers get help from the Cubs (Chicago swept a 4-Piece from the Giants) as they fall to 62-49 but still leads the West by three full games. Something tells me the Senior Circuit Entry for the 2k15 Fall Classic will be from the NL Central...just going with the Eye Test!
