The St. Louis Cardinals moves one game away from being the first in the Show for 2015 to record 70 game sin the Winner's Circle as they blank the Cincinnati Red Stockings 3-0. It was Redbirds Ace Michael Wacha moving to 13-4 as he goes a cool seven scoreless frames allowing just four hits and striking out six.
The Redbirds didn't much from the dish as St. Louis RF Jason Heyward goes 1 for 4 with a walk but scored on both RBI singles by Tony Cruz and Kolten Wong. Cincy starter Mike Lorenzen goes five frames allowing all three runs on four hits as he walked four and struck out five falling to 3-7 in 2015.
The Redbirds are just too balanced of an attack as they always have an "All Hands on Deck" Approach playing "Matheny Ball" which is the right way. Eugenio Suarez led the Red Stockings Attack going 2 for 4 as Cincy falls to a dismal 48-58...
