L.A. Dodgers Starter Dan Haren had to be watching Teammate Clayton Kershaw's Approach to White Sox Slugger Jose Abreu as Abreu took him Deep in Inning One yesterday. Well the Clock strikes twelve again as Abreu with a "Duck on the Pond" takes Haren deep to right for a Two-Run Blast to make it 2-0 Sox.
The Dodgers came right back in the bottom half of the second with a Dee Gordon Sac-Fly to make it 2-1 Sox but little did the Dodger Blue know that was all the offense they would muster on this night. In the 3rd Abreu gets a fielder's Choice RBI and the Sox were up 3-1. Then to cap the scoring off Sox Back Stop Tyler Flowers takes Haren deep on a Solo Bomb for a 4-1 Sox lead which eventually would be the final score at 4-1 Sox.
Haren went six giving up all four runs on six hits. He also had two walks and two Bombs put on his Tab! Sox Starter Hector Noesi gave up just one run through six as the Dodgers only get five hits off of him. He struck out five but walked four as the Sox Pen held down the last three innings.
Sox move to 29-30 and the Dodgers fall to 31-28...the Rubber Game is Hump Day Night in Chavez Ravine!
