The Blue Shirts come in with Swedish Net Minder "King Henrik" Lundqvist and Players such as Winger Martin St. Louis and Defenseman Ryan McDonagh. The Monarchs arrive with Net Minder Jonathan Quick arguably the best in the game in the "Blue Paint" and Players such as Defenseman Drew Doughty and Center Anze Kopitar to name a few. Just on paper the Kings might have an edge but both teams carry an edge of "Blue Collar" Hockey with 5-Star Hockey Players in abundance with a flair for the dramatic. Now we get the Rangers and Kings for all to see #BeacuseItsTheCup!
#BroadwayBullies RANGERS (12-8)
vs
#HollywoodIceHockey KINGS (12-9)
BLUE SHIRTS How they got here:
The Rangers took out a feisty Flyers Bunch in Round 1 going seven of course as both Teams are allergic to taking care of business early. Then down 3-1 to "Sid the Kid" Crosby and Team Happy Feet they comeback to take the next three as 'Burgh Hockey is allergic to winning the Big Games. Then of course the Montreal Canadiens in an Original Six Match Up as they go six with the Rangers taking care of business in Game 6 at World's Most Famous.
MONARCHS How they got here:
Down 3-0 to the In-State "Team Teal" dba San Jose Sharks they gets life by winning Game 4 and they take the next three in dramatic fashion getting back to L.A. Hockey and some "Chum" and shame on you Sharks as these Fish are no where near JAWS! Then in the 2nd Round they take the first two from the Mighty Ducks in the Big Pond only for the Ducks to win the next three games as the Kings beat the Ducks in Game 7 back at the pond going 3-1 in Anaheim as the Monarchs breakout "Road Warriors" minus Mad Max but Monarchs Edition. The Kings then go up 3-1 after beating the Hawks in the Madhouse in Game 2 to tie the series only to win Game 3 and 4 back at Staples. The Hawks then returned the favor only for a Game 7 back at the Madhouse and the Monarchs pull that out in Extras and utter shock still resonates through the 312!

RW D. Brown 12 pts (4)
LW T. Pearson 12 pts (4)
D J. Muzzin 11 pts (5)
St. Louis has been the Catalyst Offensively and McDonagh the other side of Doughty has been the Nuts and Bolts Defenesively. Carl Hagelin and Chris Kreider have carried the load of late offensively as they dominated the Habs as Hagelin is on that 1st line with St. Louis.
The Kings that "70s Line" led by Center Jeff Carter the Monarchs 2nd line annihilated the Indian Head all series long. Carter 2nd in Goals (9) behind NHL Leader and Kings RW Marian Gaborik (12) was unstoppable as was his line mates of Toffoli (7) and Pearson (4). Throw in players like Kopitar, Justin Williams, and Drew Doughty along with his line mate Jake Muzzin the Kings have extreme balance and they can all of a sudden score with the best of them.

"King Henrik" SWEDEN (12-8) 2.03 GAA .928 Save %
#Monarchs
"J-Quickster" U.S.A. (12-9) 2.86 GAA .906 Save %
King Henrik had a bad go of it in Game 5 in Montreal as he was pulled but bounced back Large and In-Charge in the Game 6 Clincher like the great ones can.
Quick had his work cut out vs the Hawks as the Indian Head gave him almost more than he could chew but he made the Big Saves when his Team was down and out to keep them within striking distance and it worked nearly at every rip!
Winner: MONARCHS 4-1 with all that Firepower and Size and even Speed and Quick in the "Blue Paint"...how could you not go with the Monarchs!
