C'mon it's going to happen through 162 and for the bad teams it happens ate least twice or three times per week. Not taking anything away from the effort that the Cincinnati Reds gave as they hammered Giants Starter and ex-U-Dub Seattle Huskie Tim Lincecum.

The Red Legs put four up in the first (Red Legs Backstop Devin Mesoraco had a 2-Run HR) but not after "Run Hunter Run" Pence of the Gigantes took Red Legs Starter Homer Bailey for a Solo Bomb in the top half of inning one. The Giants to their credit scored one in the 2nd and the 3rd to stay close at 4-3. That's when the Red Legs broke it open and Lincecum as well with another four-run inning in the 5th. That huge 5th made it 8-3 Red Legs and that was your final score.

Red Legs Starter Bailey gets the Win giving up three runs on five hits in six strong. Lighting Quick Red Legs Leadoff-Hitter Billy Hamilton was 2 for 5 scoring twice. Red Legs OF Jay Bruce was 2 for 4 with two runs scored and two RBIs.

Lincecum's Line was eight runs on six hits through 4 1/3 innings and a two-run HR on his Tab. Cincy moves to 27-29 while the Gigantes fall to 37-21 and forced to jump into the cold and muddy Ohio River!
