So many things run through your noggin' when your Team is on the cusp of another Finals Appearance and a possible Chip. Then there is also that nervous energy of "What If" we lose and as a real Hawks Backer that doesn't creep into your mind as maybe some false hope might!

The L.A. Kings comeback from three different deficits at the Madhouse on Madison to beat the Indian Head in Extras 5-4 and take away a possible Repeat for the Hawks. It's not shocking but utter disappointment more than anything especially after being in a 3-1 hole only to get Game 7 after a Home-Cooked Meal.

The Hawks came with it with leads of 2-0 in the first only for the Monarchs to tie the score up at 2-2 and the Hawks leading 3-2 just :12 seconds after the Monarchs had tied the score. Both Crawford and Quick gave up a combined 5 goals on just 18 total shots and that wasn't Game 7-esque from neither. The Kings to their credit tied it again at 3-3 in the 2nd only for the Hawks to score late in the 2nd to make it 4-3. It was the only goal in the 3rd frame by Slovakian Marian Gaborik of the Kings off a Dustin Brown Backhand that was arguably the biggest goal in the game because it stood up to send the game into Extras!

It was Kings Mr. Game 7 Justin Williams who assisted Alec Martinez as Martinez shot went right off Hawks Defenseman Nick Leddy over the top of Craw-Dad who had no shot heck Terry Sawchuk wouldn't have stopped the Frozen One on that shot on net! Kings win moving on to the 2014 Lord Stanley Cup Finals in dramatic fashion as both Teams displayed skill and play that will be hard to duplicate in the Finals.

Crawford stopped 27 of 32 shots and Quick 37-41 on Net he stopped! Ironically enough the Hawks Patrick Sharp gets it going in Game 7 as he scored two goals and that was bittersweet for him.
