The Kansas City Royals and Cleveland Indians are in the AL Central Race as the Motor City Kitties keep stumbling and fumbling through the 162. The Royals sweep the two-piece vs the Tribe as Kansas City Hardball gets a "Gem" from Rookie RHP Yordano Ventura.
Ventura gives up one run on six hits through seven solid innings giving up no free passes and striking out three. The Royals Offense was supplied by not one, now two, not three, but four Sac-Fly's as the Tribe gets a run to lose 4-1. Tribe Starter Trevor Bauer gives up three runs on seven hits through 5 1/3 innings as that was some tough luck for him.
The Royals Hit Parade was led by SS Alcides Escobar as he went 3 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. The Royals move to 33-32 and just 2.5 games back of the AL Central leading Tigers. The Tribe at 33-33 is just three games back of the tigers as all five teams in the Central have a chance thus far.
