After getting their Backside handed to them on a Home and Home Series vs the Carmines of Fenway earlier in the week the Atlanta Braves get back to what they do. Back to dba HOTlanta and holding down Braves Country the Braves go into Little Havana and get greedy taking all three tilts as that NL East Race heats up with the Nats and Fish right behind the Chop Shop.
Braves Hurler Aaron Harang was good enough as Marlins Starter Nathan Eovaldi was on his game as well and kept the Fish in the game. The Marlins struck first in the 2nd behind a Marcell Ozuna Two-Run "Tater" to make it 2-0 Fish. Only to see the Braves tie it up at 2-2 in the 3rd behind a Jason Heyward single and a B.J. Upton fielder's choice. Then in the 9th with the score tied Marlins Steve Cishek in for Eovadli after he went eight giving up just two runs gives up a Two-Run Bomb to Braves Back Stop Evan Gattis to make it 4-2 and that was the ball game. Fish get the tying man on at first only for Marlins OF Christian Yelich to hit into a game ending force out.
Harang went 6 2/3 innings allowing that Two-Run HR in the 2nd on five hits as he and Eovaldi get No Decisions. Cishek takes the loss for the Fish as he gets blitzed in the 9th and Braves Alex Wood gets the "W" with Shae Simmons getting the save as Braves 5-Star Captain Save-A-Game Craig Kimbrel gets the day off.
Braves move to 30-25 and the Fish to 28-27 as the Marlins could have captured first place with a Sweep or even a game back if they take two of three.
