The Pittsburgh Pirates needed 14 innings to get by the Brew Crew as the Buccos used everyone on that Roster but the Pirates Mascot "Pirate Parrot". The Final was 2-1 as the winning pitcher for the Pirates was Tony Watson as he pitched three scoreless Innings to get the "W". The Game only had 12 hits through fourteen and the only Multiple Hits were by Brewers back stop Martin Maldonado (3 for 5) and Pirates Left fielder Starling Marte (2 for 6). Yankees Castoff Catcher Russell Martin of the pirates gets the game-winning hit as he was the last man on the bench left for the Pirates. The Buccos move to a MLB Best 51-30 two ahead of the 2nd place Redbirds.  

Yu Darvish last win a game in May and with his "Nasty Stuff" the "Law of Averages" had to give him a "W" in the month of June at least one. Darvish out dueled Red Legs Pitcher Mat Latos for a 3-2 Rangers Win as he went 6 2/3 allowing four hits striking out eights while giving up no runs. Latos has been the most consistent pitcher for the Reds through the Month of June as he went 6 2/3 as well allowing two runs on eight hits as he struck out nine Rangers Hitters. Rangers CF Leonys Martin led the way with two hits and two runs as the Rangers lead the AL West by 1/2 game over the A's. the Reds loss pout them 5 1/2 game back in the NL Central behind the Buccos.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are starting to click as they have won six in a row and they sweep the Houston Astros behind LHP CJ Wilson and a Bomb from OF Mark Trumbo of "TnT'...Trumbo and Trout. The Halos win as Wilson goes seven strong allowing just one run on three hits while sending ten 'Stros Players back to the Pine to talk to the 'Stros Hitting Coach about what they didn't see. Halos OF Mark Trumbo hits a solo shot and second baseman Howie Kendrick goes three for four for the Halos. Angles still nine games out of 1st in the AL West but just four games under .500 for the season. 'Stros long gone out of the AL West Race for 2013.
