The Atlanta Falcons are right there and they know it as they lock up their Franchise QB Matt Ryan for 5-years extension north 103 Large. They also get rid of an old core in DE John Abraham (122 Career Red Jersey Collections), CB Dunta Robinson, and RB Michael "Burner" Turner. The Dirty Birds add DE Osi Umenyiora and RB Steven Jackson and they should fit right in the Falcons schematically on both sides of the Wilson Pigskin. Can they get to the "Fight for Vince" as the NFC Powerhouses are the Seahawks, 49ers, along with the Falcons?

Key Players:

Offense

QB Matty Ice
RB Steven Jackson
RB Quizz Rodgers
Peach Drop 3...WRs Roddy n Julio plus TE Gonzo
LT Sam Baker

Defense

DE Osi Umenyiora
LB Spoon
DE Kroy Biermann
SS W. Moore
FS DeCoud
CB Desmond Trufant (2013 Top Pick)

Offensively they should be even more explosive with Steven Jackson in the back field. What will they do with Scat back Quizz Rodgers as he was a huge threat on 3rd down in 2012? No one can stop the "Peach Drop 3" and TE Gonzalez came back for one more round.

Defensively it starts up front with Babineaux and the ultra-athletic Biermann and now they add Umenyiora from the G-Men. Backers Sean Weatherspoon is the most important player on that front and he is the unquestioned leader for the Falcons. The Rookie CB Desmond "Bloodline" Trufant looks to be the opening day starter and he will be opposite of the "Gambler" Ashante Samuel. Al that is backed up by a Top 5 Safety Duo in Moore and DeCoud. Watch 2013 2nd round pick Robert Alford from SE Louisiana as he could slide into that Nickel Corner slot and he is a gamer.

Key 2013 Schedule Dates

They play a really tough schedule an that should only prepare them better for what lies ahead in Winning Time. Lead Man Mike Smith must come up big in 2013 as its Big Bowl or Bust for the Dirty Birds...Rise Up!
