The Baltimore Orioles go in to Texas and take three away from an AL Pennant Contender in the Texas Rangers. Today behind 12-game-winner now Chris Tillman the O's beat the Rangers 4-2 and are just two back of the 2nd AL East Rays and and three back of the AL East leading Carmines of Fenway. Tillman pitched a gem as he went eights strong giving up just two runs on six hits as he struck out seven Rangers. His counterpart Martin Perez of the Rangers went 6 1/3 giving up four runs on nine hits as he struck out five.

The Orioles get Multi-hit games from 2013 All-Star Hardy, McLouth, Roberts, and Wieters. Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler was the only Ranger to go multi-hits. With the loss the Rangers fall back three full games of the AL West leading Oakland Athletics.

Next up the Rangers will host the Yankees starting Monday. The O's travel to Kansas City to take on the Royals on Monday as well.

Note: O's All-Star First Baseman Chris Davis was 1 for 4 with a run scored as he tried to say ahead of Tigers third baseman Miggy Cabrera in Bombs and tries to catch him in Ribbies.
