The Indiana Pacers knew they were a play away from beating the Miami Heat or even a Danny Granger away as he was injured for all of the 2012 -13 season. Now Larry Legend...VP of Basketball Operations Larry Bird is back after taking a year off the Pacers are now trying to seal the deal on getting out of the East and into the "Fight for Larry" for the 2013-14 season.

Through numerous Media Outlets the Pacers have acquired Argentina National Team PF Luis Scola as the Phoenix Suns get SG Gerald Green, PF/ C Mile Plumlee, and a protected 2014 Lottery Pick. What Scola brings is a blue-collar work ethic and he is a certified and verified glass-eater as well as defender and he should go nicely with D-West and "Area 55" Big Roy Hibbert of Hoya Paranoia.

The Suns are in rebuilding mode and one wonders as loaded as they are with youth who is going to be on their way out with Gerald Green coming to a crowded back court of Archie Goodwin (2013 1st rounder), PG Kendall Marshall, Combo G Shannon Brown, as well as the newly picked up Eric Bledsoe from Lob City. The Suns will be exciting if anything else in the 2013-14 season.

Stay tuned for the Pacers as they are now at least 10 deep with quality and not quantity and that move puts them ahead of the Chicago Bulls in my estimation.
