The Competition will heat up as it did when the pads came on as the Steelers went through their patented Running Backs on Backers Drill with hot-shot Rooks with RB Le'Veon Bell of Sparty and OLB @SacManJones_29...Jarvis Jones going against each other four times and from reports Coach Tomlin called it 2-2...Hmmmmm!

Now moving to the real battle is the Steelers and Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley want One Running Back they can count on from Day One and none of that playing the hot hand as there is no continuity. The Backs that will most likely be in the hunt as we near Pre-Season Game 1 and that first September Match Up vs CJ2k, Locker, and Chance and the Gang for the Tennessee Titans.

#27 Jonathan Dwyer aka JY Dwyer...he has lost some 20-25 el bees and look really good. He is explosive at the point of attack and for a big man has those quick feet like that ex-Steeler HOF Back Jerome Bettis of the Motor City. The down side is he needs to improve is pass-catching ability.

#26 Le'Veon Bell Steelers knew exactly who they wanted when they let former 1st rounder Shard Mendenhall walk. Bell has to be the favorite but don;t count out Dwyer.
...he was a monster in the Big Ten but all that was college. When you put on the tape he is never going backwards which is a good thing and Bell is a complete back as he has excellent pass-catching abilities. He is fast on the 2nd level for a big back and the

#33 Isaac Redman aka REDdawg....the best 3rd down back on the Steelers Roster as he is not explosive but has great vision. I could see RED Dawg as the 3rd down back in a lot of instances as he can get it done and it would be a nice change of pace from Dwyer and Bell. He Looks like he is situational back more than anything but RED Dawg is dependable.

#34 Larod Stephens-Howling...aka "the Howling" a 2013 FA Pick up from the Bird Gang and he is in the mix but at 5'7" and just south of 190 el bees it maybe insurance and Special Teams for Stephens-Howling. I think he could also be an asset maybe in the Kicking Game with his nifty speed and elusiveness for the ex-Pitt Panther Star.
