The L.A. Dodgers keep hold of the NL West 1st place slot even though the 2nd place D-Backs took the 'Dres to the Port-A-Potty. It was all about not what the Red Legs did but what the Two Key Dodger Figures are doing.

Behind a eight innings of six hit Hardball allowing one run and eight strikeouts Clayton Kershaw gets his tenth win and officially puts his name on the NL Cy Young Ballot as he has been and will continue to be locked in from 60' 6".  Reds RHP Homer Bailey came with it but his mistake to Dodgers SS Hanley Ramirez in the bottom half of the 6th frame with a duck on the pond cost him. The Dodgers are riding a streak that is unheard of in the Show and they are a runaway train and for NL West Teams like the Rockies, Giants, and D-Backs they must take care of the head to head versus the Dodgers to slow them down.

Meanwhile Dodgers LF Carl Crawford went 3 for 4 as he joined Hanley as the only Dodgers to go multi-hit. The Reds had their chances as they hit four doubles and just couldn't get ducks of the pond. Dodgers Jansen gets his 13th save and the Dodgers hold their 1.2 game lead on the D-Backs in the NL West.  Red Legs stay five games back of the Redbirds as the they lost and so did the Pirates the #2 team in the NL Central.

Saturday's Match Up will be Arroyo (9-7) for the Red Legs and Ryu (8-3) for the Dodgers at 9:10pm ET......
